Overmolding harnesses for military applications are based on the hybrid technology combining overmolding and Raychem system 25.
This technology has been developed as a result of long term research conducted in Radiotechnika the goal of which was to introduce overmolding to replace heat shrink components. The result of this research is a technology of producing harnesses for modern transmission systems with molded connectors. This technology ensures high mechanical resistance and complete environmental protection of the harnesses with simultaneous reduction of weight. It has also a considerable effect on improved aesthetics of produced harnesses and allows us even to offer molding with engraved company’s logo.
Apart from high quality, overmolding ensures also high repeatability of the process, and thus considerable reduction of manufacturing costs for harnesses made using this technology.
