The Laboratory is equipped with a high-class climatic chamber capacity 1700 litres, used for simulation of differentiated air temperatures and humidity. Parameters of the chamber allow to perform the tests of immunity to high and low temperatures within the range from -70 °C to +180 °C and immunity to high humidity up to 95%.
The climatic testing chamber allows:
testing of immunity to the effect of climatic conditions for equipment during its operation, storage and warehousing;
generating of climatic conditions equivalent to international testing standards and any climatic conditions according to defined time runs or program cycles;
testing of properties dependent on temperatures and humidity for materials, subassemblies and finished products;
The Laboratory has also an electromagnetic vibration/shock test system colloquially called a shaker, which enables conducting of strength tests regarding resistance of equipment to vibration exposures and impacts.. Thanks to vibration tests, it is possible to determine durability and reliability of the tested object.
For the purpose of controlling operation of the workstations for environmental testing and data reading & archiving, the laboratory uses specialized monitoring software.
The mechanical testing station allows::
testing objects with dimensions up to 670 x 586 mm, maximum static load up to 600 kg;
testing resistance to sinusoidal vibrations, including equipment durability and resistance tests;
testing resistance to single and multiple shocks;
choosing the shape of shock impulses;
supervision using computer equipped with sensor system;
quick change of test parameters thanks to dedicated control software.
