The latest Auxiliary Power Units has its own proprietary engine control system, which allows making changes in its operation mode and customization to specific needs of the client.
It is also equipped with the Autodiagnostics, system which diagnoses the Auxiliary . Power Unit. It allows checking whether the unit is operational and if not – it displays a message about cause of the fault. Thanks to the error logging function, messages about faults are registered together with circumstances of their occurrence which makes operation and maintenance easier.
In a critical situation, the user can also apply emergency mode, kwhich enables operation of the Auxiliary Power Unit outside of the range of acceptable operating conditions and using additional power supplied by the unit.
The voltage regulation system controlled via CAN bus allows adjustment of voltage generated by the Auxiliary Power Unit and adapting it to direct requirements of the client, and also changing this parameter during operation of the unit. The system is managed using CAN bus compliant with SAE J1939 standard.
The Auxiliary Power Unit is equipped also with automatic adjustment of RPM depending on the level of load. This system minimizes involvement of the user in operation of the set and ensures as low fuel consumption as possible and reduction of noise level.
Thanks to built-in AC compressor the unit can be easily integrated with the remaining part of the vehicle and connected with AC system.
The unit is compliant with requirements of the electromagnetic compatibility standard MIL STD 461 and is resistant to environmental exposure and impacts , which ensures failure-free operation and makes implementation of the set on the target product easier.
